The general prices for bananas have recently decreased. This information is confirmed by the results of the wholesale price checking conducted by "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal.

The wholesale prices for bananas have been decreased by 10-15% during the recent two weeks. Due to this fact, the banana price is now again lower than apple in the central oblasts of Ukraine. Apple is the main opponent of banana for the consumers' money. At the same time, banana is still more luxurious than most apple varieties in the blanket trade of the western oblasts.
