Fruits and Vegetables not consumed enough by Americans

According to U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines, Americans must consume at least two servings of fruit and three servings of vegetables every day as part of a fit diet. Researchers from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health state that Americans are not meeting even the minimum levels. Their findings that contain a breakdown by age, gender, society and income, would be published in the April 2007 issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.
