8 fresh produces to beat the summer heat

With longer and hotter summer days, from ripened and succulent berries to flabby and bursting cherry tomatoes, enjoys abundant and colorful array of fresh fruits to keep your body cool this vibrant season. With a wise choice of liquid selecting you can keep cool in the blistering summer heat. It is a universal fact that, consuming fruits will help you keep nourished while providing better heart health. As the summer gets longer and hotter, try eating these fruits raw or juicing it up by pairing with your favorite veggies, to stay away from heat stroke!

Watermelon- the perfect summer fruit, containing 90% water, they are as hydrating as a glass of water. Its juicy flesh and water content is highly thirst quenching and good for health in addition. Low in fat, watermelon is a good source of vitamin C, it is high in “A” vitamin and potassium at the same time as being low in fat, cholesterol and sodium.

Cucumber- Just like melons, even cucumber belong to the same botanical family. It is one of the fourth most cultivated produce, known to be the best for overall health.  They are a good source of B vitamins and known to contain lariciresinol, pinoresinol and secoisolariciresinol.

Radishes are not a common vegetable and it appears rarely on your shopping list, but it is one such item that contains just about 95% of water in it. It has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties present in it together with potassium.

Mint leaves- Despite that mint leaves are available throughout the year; they play a major role in summers. They explode a brisk aroma and best served with beverages, salads and lemon tea. In addition, it helps relieve indigestion and inflammation, which can infect us during the hot summer months.
