Apple Banana Stew in Cinnamon Sauce-Fruit Recipe

Apple and bananas make a good combo for a healthy fruit recipe. These recipes can be prepared within few minutes and one need not stand in the kitchen for a very long time. Bananas are rich in various vitamins and potassium and apple is a known source of fiber. While purchasing apples go for bright colored ones and when you choose bananas avoid brown spotted bananas.

This recipe is very attractive in its appearance and at the same time it is very healthy. They can be served for desserts and below you can find the ingredients needed for preparing this delicious recipe followed by instruction.



  • 1/3 cup of honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of corn starch
  • 2 chopped apples
  • 1 banana


  1. Mix water and corn starch together until corn starch is completely dissolved.
  2. In a cooking pot which has long handle, pour water/corn starch, lemon juice, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon. Turn skillet on medium until sauce begins to warm and combine with each other.
  3. Add chopped apples and bananas and stir to coat with the cinnamon sauce.
  4. Continue to cook over and lower the heat for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Scoop apple/ bananas and put into a bowl or hollowed out apples.

Within few minutes, this recipe can be finished preparing and it is very healthy and stomach filling. This can serve for three and one can also include little bit of butter and ice-cream to make it more delicious.
