Dry Fruit Pongal-A Sweet & Delicious Recipe

  • Rice-2 cup
  • Moong dal-1 cup
  • Milk – 4 cup
  • Milkmaid-2 cup
  • Sugar- 1 cup
  • Ghee- 6 tsp
  • Cardamom powder-1 tsp
  • Raisins– 20
  • Dates -10
  • Cashews-20
  • Badam(chopped)- 20
  • Pista(chopped)- 10
  • walnut(chopped)- 5

Method

  1. First wash out your hands properly.Then wash all the ingredients properly.
  2. Fry the moongdal till a sweet aroma comes.
  3. Add water and milk in cooker for 5-7 whistles . The rice must be in fine
  4. mashing stage.
  5. Now mash it and add milkmaid, sugar and cardamom powder.Then add the fried dry fruits .
  6. Then cook it for 10 min and garnish it with dry fruits.
