Berry Breakfast Bowls-Fruit Recipe

Strawberries are considered to be one of the healthiest foods in the world as they are ranked 4th among the fruits as the best source for antioxidants. In U.S, they are available throughout the year but their peak season is between April and June. Avoid purchasing moldy strawberries which are covered with fungal growth and pick the ones which are undamaged and bright in color.

They can be stored at the room temperature if they are going to be consumed soon or else put them in a Tupperware box and store them in refrigerator. Avoid storing them up in plastic containers as they are airtight and do not allow any air and can spoil the strawberries faster.
