Banana Tea Party Bread-Fruit Recipe

Bananas are rich in vitamins B6, vitamin C and potassium and another advantage of bananas is that it is available throughout the year and they are less expensive. While purchasing bananas prefer the ones which have less brown spots on them. If it has ripened, you can still use these for baking or smoothies. These bananas can be stored at room temperature or even in fridge to avoid ripening for some days.   • 1 3/4 cup of whole wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 bananas
  • 4 Tablespoon of canola oil
  • 4 Tablespoon of plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoon of vanilla extract


  1. In a separate bowl mash and combine the last four ingredients mentioned in the ingredient’s list.
  2. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients.
  3. Pour batter into loaf pan 9 X 5.
  4. Sprinkle some dried chopped banana chips and brown sugar over the top.
  5. Bake it at 350 for 45 to 55 minutes or until it is cooked properly.

The bananas are not completely smashed but they are chunky and many people like to eat this recipe because of this reason.
